Within our group we have decided between us to do a film opening for a film from the genre horror.
We can to this decition as a group because we all have interests in horror movies. We decided that we could do alot more with the opening of a horror more than we could any other genre. It also helped us to be influenced by Horror Movies
We have taken influence from films such as:
- friday the 13th,
- paranormal activity,
- dawn of the dead,
This has helped us to annalyse how a horror movie is constructed and how the opening's are similar and also different to each other.
We then brainstormed ideas as a group and bought together many ideas to put into our opening scene. These included ideas such as:
- Having the woman haunted by her dreams.
- Having her boyfriend using wierd behaviour towards her and following her creepily around.
- Her waking up in a field and not knowing how she got their.
- Having preminitions in her dreams.
